Remember that Geico commercial?  I still reference it regularly.

I don’t usually post on Saturdays, but something just happened that needs. to. be. shared.  I’ve been linking up with Serenity Now for the past few weeks for Amanda’s Weekend Bloggy Reading link parties.  Tooonnns of people link up, and every weekend Amanda features a few of the linked-up projects.

This week, I linked up my Oatmeal Canister turned Grocery Bag Storage.  I just went to Serenity Now to check out the featured posts, because I wanted to look at other people’s projects… not in a million years ever expecting to see mine… but guess what?  I’m scrolling down, kind of skimming over the words and looking at the pictures… and wait… I could have sworn I just saw “Heroth Home” … I scrolled a little bit more, and sure enough, there was my little grocery bag storage picture… I was one of the 5 featured projects!

This is probably so not a big deal for most bloggers, but it totally is for me!  I was going to play it cool and just throw a featured button up on my sidebar… ya know, like this stuff happens all the time and it’s just another Saturday that Heroth Home is featured on a big deal blog.  But let’s be honest, I’m not cool.. so I’m not gonna play, Mr. Jiggy Fly.  I’m pumped.  End of story.  Thanks, Amanda!

To add to my giddiness, I have a week off.  And I keep forgetting…. And then I remember… And then I get really happy!
